used to see myself as an apathetic youth who cant be bothered wif d ctry's happenings n stuff. boy was i wrong. d elections dis time round got me real interested. i was followin up on all da latest news n d diff parties n even attended rallies. hahas aint u pple out dere surprised by my actions. well in fact i'm shocked at myself too.

i'm nt saein dat PAP is a bad govt or anyting bt i applaud d opposition simply cos of their courage to stand up against our big n rich govt. dun u tink dey deserve a big clap regardless of d elections result? many r sued, brought to court n some even declare bankruptcy after d elections. why so? cos dey r standin up against d PAP n may hae offended it in some ways or another. if dis was d case den why r dey puttin demselves at risk? jus for d sake of sg! dey can jolly well lead their own comfy lifes under d rule of our present govt. is dere a need for dem to make their own lifes difficult? seriously i tink d opposition did a great job dis yr. thou only 2 members won seats in d parliament or shld i sae 3 if we were to include ms slyvia lim, d percentage of votes dat went out to dem increased when compared to d last elections. n in aljunied (which i;m under) d PAP only won by a rather small margin wif 56/57% of d votes. bt truthfully i do not noe if i wld much rather my district be under PAP or WP. will dere be a big differences? dat i'll nv noe. oya n my heart goes out to SDP whose 6 members hafta pay a deposit of 13 over thousands each for dey fail to garner at least 25% of d votes in d areas where dey were contestin in.

as many hae said, PAP is a first world govt. dat is true to a certain extent. look how dey hae brought sg up n risin frm a small unknow undeveloped nation. bt wadeva it is i see a need for at least some opposition voice to keep it in check. yes yes all d above r jus some of my opinions. pls dun sue me.
